A new huge timesaver + Surface 2 Agent 0:48

DaTeL237, an active player from, posted that you could hold strafe on the cutscene of any level of Goldeneye, using a 2.2 or 2.4 control style (check his post here). That alone saves about 0.5/6 seconds, according to our top players.

To summarize it, you can hold strafe with a second controller (using a rubber band or holding it yourself), and then you just adjust your strafe with your main controller. Jimmy Bauer brought that to our boards, and instantly David Clemens got Surface 2 Agent 0:48, the perfect level to put that into use, as it’s played only on right strafe. Obviously that can be used on other levels aswell, but it will require some time to master the strafe changes, so let’s just wait and see!

Rayan Isran also got Surface 2 Agent 0:48 a couple days later using the new timesaver; you can check his run (btw a very nice run) here: Rayan Isran – Surface 2 Agent 0:48

“I got Facilty 00a 0:53!!1one” “No you didn’t, go away”

Well, he actually did! David Clemens just got Facility 00A 0:53. The link for the video is below:

If it was the old website, the footer text on the front page would have to be updated – again. So let’s just say this is quite remarkable!
