A message from hosting

September 20th, 2006 at 1:48am by Derek

“This coming Saturday, September 23, we’re going to move to our new cage in GNAX’s new data center.

Downtime will be as long as it takes to take the servers downstairs, load ’em up in a truck, drive to the new data center, mount them, and turn them back on. IPs shouldn’t change so I’d figure each server
shouldn’t be down much over 2 hours.

This is a mandatory move for us, they’re closing the 17th and 8th floor data centers “soon” and we MUST move to the new facility, else I’d sit tight, I hate moving servers.

So to recap, Saturday, September 23rd, servers.”

Our hosting is ridiculous, lol. I’d do something about it, but I just bought a hammock….

LOL, cage. is the home of the world's fastest GoldenEye and Perfect Dark speedruns.

This website is a collaborative non-profit project that's spanned nearly 15 years with voluntary contributions from many individuals. Thank you to everyone that's helped.
