So much has happened this month that I hardly know where to start! The new Summer Contest has gotten off to a hugely successful start, including nighly Bios, a hot First Vote Competition/Bracket Prediction Contest, and record-setting vote totals! As always, all the latest news and events can be tracked on the Boards, specifically in the Matchups & Results topic. And if Contests are your thing, you're going to love Episode Two of The Elite Interviews! This week's podcast features Ngamer, Come, and Fro, and is available in either high quality or low quality mp3 formats.

Outside of Contest stuff, Goldeneye has just been blowing up all month! First Mouse became the first to tie what many consider the game's best Agent record with :17 Bunker 1 A, then Illu turned heads by setting the new #1 SA record, 1:17 Dam SA and following it up with an untied 1:59 Dam 00. As if that weren't enough, controversy over newcomer Nate Keeper has split the league in two, as half can't believe Nate (who would enter the rankings in 6th place if added today) would choose to lurk the Elite for four years before finally revealing himself. And on top of that, the Elite's very own Greg Woll took first place in a Twin Galaxies-sanctioned Midwest competition for Goldeneye mulitplayer, with fellow Eliter Adam Matis finishing a strong second. In Elite Project news, I've just finished up work on a fairly awesome Contest Tally Machine that now automatically tracks results and complete voter breakdowns for every matchup of the Summer. Pretty slick! Equally slick is the (sort of) brand new format for the Elite Quote Database that Your Eliteness applied a couple days ago. If you still haven't, now is the best time to sign up for an account and get voting! Alright, that should about wrap things up; NGO!
