6.13.04 Hott DDJ PRs. Not really.
6.9.04 I'm back! Cleaned up a few of my horrible times, WC, DKM, and RR (3'04"558 / 1'00"661). Hopefully I can stay on it. I'll be chasing Bosshardt :)
5.3.04 - Well, by now it's obvious I stopped playing. I started racing again in February and got times on the first 5 tracks that I feel are respectable (well, didn't really try BP 3-lap much.) I also got a decent 3-lap on BC at some point. Ultimately, school was way too demanding for me to dedicate the time I wanted to for time trials. Or perhaps I was just too demanding of myself when I did sit down to play. My site rank is 45th with the addition of these times, though I'd probably be closer to 30th if I didn't have about 10 really, really bad times (from the first week I owned the game). It's a big drop, but ultimately, I'm happy with what I accomplished in a short amount of time. I'm curious to see how well a few of my times hold up over time. For example, my YC times are each ranked 22nd right now (of 315), which is impressive considering these times were achieved within the first month of the game's release. The game's been out for about six months now.
The site just had it's huge facelift...and now there's talk of course standards. These may lure me back to the game, especially with the summer upcoming. Ultimately, the only thing that will probably keep me from playing is the expectations I put on myself. I still hope to PR again.
